We have attempted to make the 7th Annual Higher Education Summit a more relevant and exciting program than ever, selecting key representatives who will discuss the future of higher education in the context of the post-Bradley Review environment. It will draw from the vibrant discussions and debates that are taking place and the agenda has been centred on the theme of - "interdependence", "connectivity" and "the development of the individual institution".

For the first time, we will be introducing a state keynote ministerial address, a record number of four international speakers, and we will also welcome the speaking participation of five TAFE directors. In addition, we are extremely delighted to announce the inaugural Regional Higher Education Engagement Forum to be hosted by BHERT.

Alongside these new event highlights, the speaker faculty welcomes its traditional inclusion of VCs, with 13 VCs featured on the 2009 program as well as many other key higher education representatives. In total, an expected 48 speakers will be joining next year's Summit speaker faculty, making this Summit a very exciting event for networking and sharing information.

The 2008 Summit gathered a huge contingent of VCs and tertiary administrators along with senior government and private sector representatives. The networking and feedback throughout the event was phenomenal - to see live highlights visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rr1-LuP95b0
