The 9th Annual Higher Education Summit 2011 focused on key issues impacting tertiary institutions here and overseas, including preparing them for the demand-driven, student-entitlement model of funding. The three day event featured specifically tailored streams across a wide range of topics encompassing a thought-provoking agenda. Highlights included panel discussions and presentations from international Professors such as Professor Sir Timothy O'Shea, Principal & Vice-Chancellor, University of Edinburgh, Scotland; Phil Ker, Chief Executive Officer, Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand; and Professor Don Nutbeam, Vice-Chancellor, University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
